It’s week seven of my Pantone Fall Color Report decorating showcase. Over the past few weeks I’ve shared decorating ideas and
inspirations for Pantone’s French Roast, Honey Gold, Pink Flambe, Tangerine Tango (at Color of the Year: Tangerine Tango), Ultramarine Green, Bright Chartreuse and Olympian Blue. This week I am sharing decorating ideas and inspirations for Pantone’s Titanium. Titanium is the quintessential cool gray.
Titanium is great as both a dominant or accent color and like other neutrals, gray gives you limitless possibilities as far as introducing other hues. In addition, this subtle gray can be used as a great backdrop for any design style.
To create an elegant and sophisticated look pair Titanium with lighter shades of gray and varying textures. To achieve a cheerful inviting room pair Titanium with bright accents, I personally love the look that you get when pairing it with bright yellow.
This versatile color has the ability to provide a feeling of openness to small rooms or create a cheery environment when mixed with bright colors. No matter how you incorporate Titanium into your color scheme it’s bound to look stunning.
