I am going with a Minnie Mouse theme for Riley’s 1st Birthday Party, so the past two months have been full of all things Minnie Mouse. One of the DIY Party Décor Projects I made for the party was a DIY Minnie Mouse
Head Insert for each of the centerpieces. I love love love the way they look and can’t wait to see how these DIY Minnie Mouse Heads look with real roses.
This is a great way to incorporate Minnie Mouse into your party décor. It is elegant, cheap and easy to make!!
Okay, put your DIY hat on and let’s get started!!
Here is what you will need:
- Smooth Finish Paste for Styrofoam
- 3″ Styrofoam Ball
- (2) 2″ Styrofoam Balls
- Toothpicks
- Dowel Rods
- Hot Glue Gun
- Paint
- Ribbon
Step 1: Apply Smooth Finish Paste to a 3″ Styrofoam Ball and two 2″ Styrofoam Balls
Step 2: Once the Paste dries use sand paper to make it smooth (sorry I didn’t get a picture of this step)
Step 3: Insert a toothpick into each of the Styrofoam balls and paint them black
Step 4: After painting them I placed the toothpicks into the top of a shoe box so they could dry
Step 5: Once the paint dries take the two small Styrofoam balls and insert the toothpicks into the large styrofoam ball to make mouse ears
Step 6: Insert the dowel rod into the bottom of the large Styrofoam ball
Step 7: Make a small bow and glue it in front of one of the ears
Now you can stick it into your flower arrangement and viola….You have a Beautiful Minnie Mouse Head Centerpiece
Until Next Time…..

Soooooooo ADORABLE!!!!!!!
Just had a quick question , what size mason jars did you use for this arrangement ?
Hi Jazmin, good question, I should have clarified that in the tutorial!! I used quart size mason jars!!
Thank you so much , such a beautiful centerpiece I will be using them for my babyshower 🙂
